Evo State Hiking Area
 
Evo hiking area is situated in the municipality of Lammi, along the Tuulos-Padasjoki main road. It is a forest area of about 6000 hectares with lots of small lakes and ponds. Along with the hiking area in Teijo, Evo is one of the two state-owned hiking areas in southern Finland. The area has a fine network of hiking trails, forming part of the Evo Lynx Trail (Ilvesvaellus) network. The trails continue to the municipality of Padasjoki, to a forest and hiking area owned by the City of Hämeenlinna. The area has a recreational fishing area, cabins, lean-to shelters, fire rings and trailer sites. Evo Centre (Evokeskus) is the Visitor Centre of the Hikinng Area. It is owned by Häme Polytechnic/Evo. A 1:20,000 Lynx Trail area map is available for hikers.
