The recreation area is a rugged natural area with a broken shoreline on the eastern shore of Lake Mallinkaistenjärvi in Janakkala. The area covers 151 hectares and has 6.5 kilometres of shoreline. The area has a swimming beach, a fire ring, a cooking site and a sauna. There is a smaller recreation area on the western shore of the lake with a municipal camp centre and a swimming beach.
The area is owned by the municipality of Janakkala
