Torronsuo national park is situated in western Tammela to the west of main road 2. The info site of this national park featuring bog and marshland is situated on the islet of Kiljamo along the Forssa-Somero road. There is an observation tower there, and the info site also marks the start of a hiking trail passing through Torronkylä village and crossing marshland, partly on causeways, as part of the Häme Lynx Trail. In the winter there are about 40 km of marked ski tracks on the marshland. The national park covers a total of 2,600 hectares. Torron-suo is a very representative example of a southern Finnish raised bog. It is one of the deepest bogs found in southern Finland and it is 13 km long. Its peat layer is among the deepest in Finland, measuring over 12 metres. Torronsuo has a rich bird life.
