The recreation area is an impressive cape in its natural state situated in Hattula, sticking out into Lake Iso Vanaja. The area covers 72 hectares and has 3 kilometres of shoreline. The area has a swimming beach, a fire ring, a hiking trail, a boat launch site and a port for sailboats. Info on the area is available at the parking lot.
The area is owned by the City of Hämeenlinna.
